Kindle DX: On Stock Today, Already Sold Out

Kindle DX, the latest Kindle from Amazon was in stock today, but it is already sold out due to heavy customer demand. The next shipment will be four to six weeks from today. Amazon suggest to place to order as soon as possible, as they prioritize orders on first come, first served basis. Amazon also remind that Kindles are available to purchase for US customer only.
Kindle DX is the next generation of Kindle that has some new features, including 9.7-inch 1200 x 824 pixel resolution at 150 ppi, 16-level gray scale E-Ink® electronic paper display, 4GB internal (approximately 3.3GB available for user content), EVDO modem with fallback to 1xRTT, Auto-Rotating Screen and Built-In PDF Reader.
Is this another trick from Amazon to create more buzz around Kindle? Or maybe Amazon don’t want to overstock Kindle DX due to low demand? You guess it.
